• Your name and email address (entered at sign-in)
• Photos and videos you choose to upload
• The date and time of each upload

We do not collect any other personal information, and we do not use cookies for advertising or tracking.

We use your information for two purposes only:

• To label your media — your first name is shown next to photos and videos you upload in the shared gallery.
• Post-wedding contact — we may send you a one-off email with a link to the gallery and a thank-you message after the wedding. We will not email you for any other reason.

Our legal basis is your consent, which you give when you tick the box at sign-in. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

All data is stored on DigitalOcean infrastructure located in the European Union. Photos and videos are kept in a private storage bucket — they are never publicly accessible and are only served via short-lived, individually signed links.

We will delete all guest data — names, email addresses, photos, and videos — within 6 months of the wedding date. If you would like your data removed sooner, see Your rights below.

You have the right to:

• Delete your own media — tap the delete button on any photo or video you uploaded in the gallery.
• Request full removal — to have your name, email address, and all uploaded media deleted, email us at carl@smbr.co.uk and we will action your request within 30 days.
• Access your data — you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

If you are in the UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

This website uses a single cookie to remember who you are for up to 30 days, so you do not need to sign in again on the same device. This cookie is strictly functional — it contains no tracking or advertising data and is not shared with any third party.
